Caramel Apple Dump Cake

  • 2 cans (21 oz) apple pie filling
  • 1/2 C caramel topping
  • 15- 1/4 oz box yellow cake mix
  • 8 Tbsp butter, melted

Pour pie filling into slow cooker.  Drizzle caramel topping over pie filling.  Combine cake mix and butter in a bowl.  Sprinkle cake mixture on top of apple mixture.  Cover and cook on low for 4 hours.

Pumpkin Bread

  • 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 C vegetable oil
  • 2/3 C water
  • 3 C sugar
  • 3- 1/2 C flour
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1- 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger

Preheat oven to 350.  Grease 7 small loaf pans (approx. 3″x6″).  In a large mixing bowl, combine pumpkin, eggs, oil, water, and sugar.  In a separate bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger.  Stir the dry ingredients into the pumpkin mixture.  Do not over-mix.  Place mixture into loaf pans (filling about 2/3 way up).  Bake for 50 minutes.

Mandarin Orange Cake

  • 1 pkg yellow cake mix
  • 11 oz mandarin oranges plus juice
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 C oil
  • 16 oz crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 large pkg vanilla instant pudding
  • 8 oz Cool Whip

Mix first 4 ingredients together and bake according to box instructions.

Fold together last 3 ingredients & frost cake.

Pumpkin Pie

  • 1 can pumpkin
  • 3/4 C sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 deep dish pie crust

Preheat oven to 425.  Mix ingredients together.  Put in pie crust.  Bake for 15 minutes.  Reduce temp to 350: bake for 40-50 minutes or until a knife inserted near center comes out clean.  Cool for 2 hours.  Serve or refrigerate.

Banana Bread

  • 1 C butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 C sugar
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 6 ripe bananas
  • 3-1/2 C flour

Mix together first 3 ingredients.  Add next 2 ingredients, mix.  Add remaining ingredients, mix.  Bake @ 350.  Makes 7 mini loaves, 2 loaves, or 24 muffins.

Snickerdoodles

  • 5- 1/2 C flour
  • 3 C sugar
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 4 tsp cream of tartar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 C shortening
  • 1 C butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • sugar & cinnamon (topping)

Combine all of the ingredients (except for topping).  Form walnut sized balls.  Roll in sugar & cinnamon mixture.  Place on a greased cookie sheet.  Bake 8-10 minutes @ 400.

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 C brown sugar
  • 1 C  sugar
  • 1- 1/3 C butter
  • 2 egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 3 C flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 bag chocolate chips

Directions

Mix first 3 ingredients together.
Add egg ,vanilla and mix.
Add flour, soda, salt and mix well.
Add chocolate chips and mix.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a cookie sheet.

Bake @ 350 degrees for 8 -10 minutes.
