- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 C chopped onion
- 1 C chopped green pepper
- 1 C chopped celery
- 2 cans kidney or chili beans, don’t drain
- 2 (16 oz) cans tomatoes
- 1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
- garlic powder to taste
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 Tbsp chili powder (optional)
Brown beef. Add vegetables and cook until half done. Add tomato past, garlic powder, salt, and chili powder. Mix well, cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours.
