Corn Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 C corn meal
  • 1 C flour
  • 1/4 C sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1 C milk
  • 1/4 C butter, softened

Directions

Mix together the first 5 ingredients.
Add rest of ingredients, beating until smooth.

Spread in a greased 8X8 pan or a muffin pan (1/2 fill).

Bake @ 425 for 20-25 minutes.
